Te Mania Estate (pronounced Te Mar-nee-a and meaning 'The Plains') is a small family vineyard owned by husband and wife team Jon and Cheryl Harrey. This vineyard is located on stony clay loam soils which are free draining and have proved excellent for producing winegrapes of exceptional quality.

Typical citrus lime characters combine with sweeter perfume and herbal notes on the nose whilst the palate is filled with zesty lemon/lime flavours and has a pleasant texture adding interest and weight. This wine crisp and fresh drinking when young but will continue to develop and offer good drinking over several years.

Appealing cherry, raspberry and earthy aromas. Sweet cherry and raspberry fruit characters with some hints of spicy oak. Light to medium bodied, attractively balanced, and with subtle tannins this wine exhibits vibrant fruit in an easy drinking style that should continue to develop over the next two to three years.

Nose: Spicy plum and sweet cherry aromas combining with a delicate violet note and charry oak.
Palate: The palate offers sweet cherry and plum fruit characters backed by fine tannins and spicy oak. A robust, well structured Pinot Noir with a long lingering complex finish that will continue to develop with cellaring.
